Toyota Boshoku Workplace Noise

Toyota Boshoku’s main plant in Turkey produces interior automobile parts — seats, door trim, instrument panels, air filters, and seat covers — across three production sites in Sakarya and Düzce. Operating since 2002 as a just-in-time facility, it produces over 280,000 vehicle sets per year, exported across Europe and Africa.

With heavy-duty machinery on the line, noise and worker health and safety sit high on the management agenda. To better understand and act on indoor noise levels, Toyota Boshoku engaged local partner Metapax to identify a reliable, affordable monitoring solution — and was introduced to Sonitus Systems, a Cognesense brand.
